It immediately caught my attention because of its special attraction (a mummy) ,this would be the first time I was going to see a real life mummy which made the whole experience even more fascinating. In the depths of himachal pradesh 228 kms from kaza village ( a subdivisional headquarter) lies a small village Gue . Famous for a mummy of a lama meditating for over 500 years . It took me around 4 hours to reach Gue from Kaza to see the shrine with a dead body dried up through a natural process, with its eyes, teeth and hair intact. Believed to over 500 years old, this rare natural mummy belongs to Sangha Tenzin, a Buddhist monk who started the self-mummification process while still living!
